Welcome to System Mechanic 14.6!

System Mechanic 14.6 fully supports Windows 10 to help keep your PC stable, responsive and clutter-free.

System Mechanic adjusts its behavior based on which version of Windows you're running—from XP through 10—to better customize crucial maintenance actions and fine tune processor, network, memory and hard drive settings for maximum system speed.

Updates included in Version 14.6

ENHANCED Program Accelerator

  • Retooled and newly optimized for all Windows versions, including Windows 10.

  • Intelligently chooses files to realign, completing realignment in as little as half the time.

ENHANCED Registry Tuner

  • Recognizes Windows evolving use of registry (e.g., storing templates) to safely remove only unnecessary and dangerous registry clutter.

  • Scaled back to reduce incidents of "false positives", promoting greater system stability.

  • Fully supports Windows 10, in addition to earlier Windows versions.

ENHANCED NetBooster

  • Further testing compelled all TCP/IP settings to be individually re-adjusted to maximize speed in Windows versions XP through 10.

  • Now dynamically adjusts Internet settings in real time--no reboot required.

ENHANCED WMI Repair

  • Correctly detects and repairs WMI errors in Windows 10.

ENHANCED PowerSense

  • Endurance Mode adjusted to compliment Windows 10 new Battery Saver mode.

  • Automatic switching to Windows Power Saver mode has been enabled in Windows 10.

ENHANCED Memory Mechanic

  • Now allows 64-bit users to flush entire memory capacity in deep cleaning mode.

An issue during product activation when no Internet connection is available has been resolved to time out the installer after one minute.
Program Accelerator
No longer erroneously runs on the Samsung MDGAGC model SSD.

Is Click-To-Call Worth $1 Trillion?

Performance Marketing Insider recently ran a fascinating interesting piece on click-to-call commerce, and its staggering value. Please note: iolo will be launching a campaign through Invoca/Pay Per Call shortly! Below is a section from the article.

"No, that’s not a type-o. A new report from Marchex has found that click-to-call commerce is generating more than $1 Trillion annually, and that is in the US only. With the entire GDP of the United States sitting somewhere around $18 trillion, this is a truly remarkable number and one that many people will find hard to believe.

Once you really start to think about it, however, it starts to make more sense. How many times throughout the day do people find themselves on a company website and then tap their phone number to make the call. This is a very common occurrence for millions of people throughout the country. Many of the calls generate fairly small sales right away, such as ordering a sandwich delivery for lunch. Others are made for big ticket items, or an appointment related to them.

For example, auto dealerships receive many calls each day that originate from a mobile phone visiting their website.

As performance marketers we are all very familiar with using ad based click to call marketing. This type of marketing alone accounts for approximately $4 billion per year in ad spend. While this is a large amount of money, and an amount that is growing rapidly, it is very small compared to the total amount generated from all click to call commerce combined.

According to the report, the total amount will continue to grow reaching about $1.94 Trillion by 2019."
